Embracing Dreams Under Thai Skies: Kriti's Thrillophilia Review for a Thailand Trip

There was a strange satisfaction in planning a surprise for a partner. Kriti noticed her partner talking to friends about how he once wanted to visit Thailand but could not. She decided to plan a trip to Thailand with him.
She spoke to Rahul and Pritam from Thrillophilia and booked a nine-day getaway to Thailand. It was difficult to hide it from her partner since she had a habit of sharing everything, but somehow she managed. Once the trip was booked, she sent him a screenshot on WhatsApp.
Her partner was so excited that he did not even want to immediately find out how Kriti had discovered his dream destination. That is how they both visited Thailand together for the first time.
The City of Angels
When someone mentioned Bangkok, Kriti thought of vibrant streets and modern architecture. She soon discovered that the city also had attractions like Safari World. It became one of their favourite activities, as both Kriti and her partner were wildlife enthusiasts.
The Safari Park zone offered opportunities to spot lions, zebras, elephants, and tigers. Animal shows were exciting, with elephants performing tricks and birds of prey showcasing their hunting techniques. They enjoyed clicking pictures up close to the animals.
Her partner loved the Marine Park zone, which featured impressive sea lion and dolphin shows. Among the visitors, his applause stood out, showing he was probably the biggest fan.
He admired the underwater exhibitions, watching exotic corals and vibrant fish, while Kriti enjoyed watching him and felt her affection grow.
The Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise was a romantic highlight. Her partner looked at her in awe, asking if a cruise could be more amazing. Kriti held his arm, and they spent the next few minutes admiring the dazzling Bangkok skyline.
She enjoyed the authentic Thai main course served during the cruise, while he preferred snacks since he had already tried several Thai beverages.
The Land of Limestone
Krabi Island was breathtaking. The scenic speedboat ride during the island tour felt like gliding across a fantasy land, with huge mountains rising from clear waters.
Koh Poda Island was our first stop during the tour, where we got the opportunity to witness the natural beauty of Thailand at its finest. The sandy shores reflected the blue skies, and the crystal clear waters sparkling - the views were spell bounding.

Her partner found the next stop humorous, as it was not only named after a chicken but also shaped like one.
The most memorable moment came at Tup Island. They visited during low tide, which created a beautiful sandbar connecting Tup Island to nearby islands.
Walking along the sandbar, Kriti reflected on how the trip unfolded, feeling a sense of serendipity and magic. The wise words of Ibn Battuta came to mind: “Travelling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”
Bayside Escape to Paradise
Phuket was recommended by Rahul and Pritam to be included in the itinerary. Upon arrival, Kriti realised why. The area featured lush green landscapes and sandy beaches, and unique activities awaited them.
They began with a day trip to Phi Phi Islands on a speedboat with an experienced guide. Maya Bay appeared straight out of a high-budget movie, with tall limestone cliffs and expansive green views.
Loh Samah Bay was another highlight, considered among Thailand’s hidden gems and loved by tourists worldwide.
Monkey Island became her partner’s favourite attraction because of the wildlife. He enjoyed interacting with the monkeys and even posed for pictures with a few.
Their package also included a visit to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. As wildlife enthusiasts, Kriti and her partner were excited. They got up close with elephants, watched feeding sessions, and joined them for a mud bath.
For Kriti, the trip was more than sightseeing. It was a scenic journey of discovering her partner’s dream. Watching him smile throughout the trip reinforced the strength of their bond.
