The journey started with a long drive going up from Bagdogra airport along the bright blue Teesta River. The road twisted through thick green forests before reaching the steep mountainsides of Gangtok. As the car climbed higher, the warm air from the plains turned into a crisp, cool breeze. When evening came, the family took a slow walk down MG Marg. The wide street was brightly lit, clean, and free of cars, making it completely safe for a family stroll. From these high viewpoints, they could see the river valleys stretching out far below and the mountain peaks reaching into the blue sky.
